Welcome to my website! My name is Dr. John C. Stanko (he/thon), and I am a first-generation scholar of foreign policy and international relations. I earned my doctoral degree in political science from Indiana University. My primary focus is the foreign policies of centralized/centralizing states in Eurasia. I have received multiple Foreign Language & Area Studies awards to further my study of languages of the region.
